New ATL SkyTrain Runs Like a Watch

Today’s reported on the unveiling of of their new SkyTrain and featured exectuives from the Sumitomo Corporation of America, who are also bidding on the Honolulu rail project’s core systems contract.  The Global Atlanta reports,

“The ATL SkyTrain, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport’s new elevated people mover connecting the terminal to a remote car rental facility since Dec. 8, runs like a “synchronized watch,” according to Gino M. Antoniello, vice president, Sumitomo Corp. of America.

Antoniello was in Honolulu in early October with Ken Bauer, and several other members of the Honolulu Rail for Growth team, to speak with students at the UH College of Engineering. You can see photos, and read more about their conversations with students by clicking the image below.
