Sumitomo-led Team Brings Careers in Rail to UH Mānoa Engineering Students

Honolulu Rail for Growth (HRFG) executives will once again be present to provide information and insights on new career opportunities in the rail industry to University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa College of Engineering students at the college’s Career Day on Wednesday, February 10th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“We had a lot of interest at our recent outreach meeting for local contractors, and we are again looking forward to sharing the wide range of careers that will open up for students with the city’s rail project,” said Gino Antoniello, Vice President of Transportation Systems and Equipment, for Sumitomo Corporation of America. “The rail industry provides excellent opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement,” said Antoniello. “It was clear to us when we met with the students previously that they were keenly interested in investigating rail for the many career paths it offers,” he added.
